Bring an item to help us support the "Adopt A Vet For the Holiday" 
"Housing for our Vets" has a 48 bed transitional housing unit for homeless veterans which covers all of WI, parts of IL, IN, and MI. Veterans can stay for up to 24 months, receive case management upon arrival, transportation to and from case management related goals (school, work, medical, etc.), and three meals in the cafeteria. We assist them in finding employment, permanent housing, accessing benefits, etc. Activities each month are planned that encourage comradery and socialization. The facility has 39 veterans, and expect several more intakes in the next few weeks.

Twin sized sheet sets, twin sized blankets (Bed in a Bag work great for this), Pillows, Bath and Hand towels. Additionally, for the holidays, items are needed to put into baskets for the veterans to receive with their gifts. Snack items, small gift cards to places on this side of Janesville (Kwik Trip, McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, etc.)
Fees/Admission
$20 per person
Guests always welcome.
